The MaRVis team has a long track record in development of MR medical devices. It covers all relevant aspects of development, manufacturing, regulatory approval, clinical application and business development.

Dr. Klaus Düring, the CEO of the company, is an experienced serial life science and medtech entrepreneur. His interest is in developing novel disruptive technologies, devices and treatments from concept to clinical application and to realize a succesful market introduction.

Being an educated chemist and molecular biologist, after a 15 year academic career in biotechnology he moved from an institute directorship to the life science business and became a passionate entrepreneur. Within two decades of business experience he successfully realized corporate, IP and business development for several biotech and medical device companies and projects including high value licensing agreements and trade sales.

His primary aim in MaRVis is to enable routine clinical MRI-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Closing the gap between the clinician´s demand and availability of required medical devices with the MaRVis Guidewires will be a key step forward.

Klaus Düring works with the other members of the team who are active in business development, development and production, clinical development and regulatory affairs.
